Re-organization of Christian Community Chapel

Christian Community Chapel, at 211 Rt. 206, Hillsborough, has recently voted to officially join the Wesleyan Church denomination. In 2000 Pastor Stephan Nash and several families organized as an independent, evangelical church, purchasing 8 ½ acres, formerly known as Brookhaven Horse Farm and soon thereafter broke ground on its new 32,000 sq. ft. church facility. The development of the property has won both county and national awards.

Christian Community Chapel has now joined the Wesleyans, making it the 78th congregation in the Penn-Jersey District of the Wesleyan Church. Superintendent, Dr. Harry Wood, received 70 new members into the new church on June 27th at the 11am service. Pastor Nash has been recalled by the Wesleyans to be the pastor of the church.

A note from Pastor Nash:
"We hope to rebuild Christian Community Chapel so that we may impact our community in greater ways. We are a multi-cultural, family oriented church which teaches sound biblical doctrine and whose goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways. Membership in the Wesleyan denomination will provide the direction and accountability that will enable us to be more fruitful through our various church ministries."

Christian Community Chapel will retain our name. The major change is that we now have a congregational form of church government instead of being elder led. We, the pastor and members of the church, look forward to new members joining the congregation as time goes on. Our Sunday service is held at 11a.m. The liturgy is non-formal and the music is a blend between traditional and contemporary.
