A Special Thank You to Khalilah for all her help with the Youth, Library & Directory this past year. We wish her well and our prayers are with her and Edwin as she returns to Boston next week for school.
"The Gathering" beginning Sep. 23 at 6pm with a kick-off meal in the fellowship hall followed by 7pm meetings:
-AWANA for children, ages pre-K through 6th grade
-C3 Arts for Jr. high & high school, which involves a discipleship program and training in the performing arts
-Adult Bible study in Philippians, prayer and fellowship
Sunday School - A new Sunday School program will begin on September 12th with classes for the entire family. There will be 5 classes: Pre-K, K-3, 4-6, Jr/Sr High, and Adult. Classes begin Sept 12th at 9:30am. Be there!
Women of Faith “Over the Top” Conference in Philadelphia Friday/Saturday (Sept 10-11) - Five reasons you should experience an “Over the Top event. You can: 1) Recharge – let God fill your empty spaces; 2) Re-energize – gain fresh strength for the days ahead; 3) Roar with laughter – speakers are funny! 4) Realize maybe for the first time - just how much God loves YOU! 5) Retreat from the everyday – just for the weekend. Tuesdays, 9/14 thru 11/16/10, 7:30-9pm, 1st floor conference room - Step Up to a Healthy Step-Family Seminar (Joel Davis)
“A place where husband and wife may begin to think about step-family systems in a manner both healthy and Biblical.” There is a $50/couple registration fee. It is open to the public, not only CCC.

Commuter Prayer Meeting every Thursday from 6:30-8 am in the conference room of the chapel. This is a wonderful opportunity to begin your challenging day with others as we call upon the name of the Lord for grace and guidance. Join us for five minutes, ten minutes, or however long you'd like to stay.
Young Men’s Bible Study – Monday night 6:30-8:00 p.m.
This study will be held at the Hobbs’ house at 14 Speer St. in Somerville. Come join as we go to through the book of Ecclesiastes and discover how to live our lives for God.
Matthew and Natalie Thompson are collecting ink cartridges for CCC. Every ink cartridge gives a credit towards future purchases at Staples. They are also collecting Campbell’s UPC’s, box tops for education, and used postage stamps. These are in support of McCurdy School which is a Christian school in New Mexico.
Library - If you have any Christian books that you would like to donate to the church, they can be brought to the library on the 2nd floor.
